I have SPRING FEVER........

I am really ready for warmer weather...it is about this time every year Mark and I start getting really antsy to get our boat out of storage!! Doesn't that look FABULOUS!! Sunny summer days....Why do we live in Michigan??? I thought I would post a couple pictures of our boat. We bought this boat a month after we got married (August of 2000). We have had so much fun with Spring Fever...Hallie had her first boat ride at 2 weeks old and Addison was around 3 months old!! We are looking forward to another great summer on Lake Michigan!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY BROTHER-IN-LAW

HAPPY BIRTHDAY~ TY aka TODD! Hope you have a great day! For all of you who do not know Ty...here are a couple things about him ~ He married Mark's sister Laura in June of 07'..Laura is the youngest of Five kids. ~ Ty likes to talk and is truly a "kid at heart"! He calls himself Dad to his puppy "Shakes"! Often people call him Todd instead of Ty~....including Mark!

HAPPY SNOWY EASTER

MOM finally feels RESTED..for once

Some of you know my struggle with Addison and sleeping through the night....I blame myself for my lack of sleep over the past year. When ever she cries I am up and in her room with in minutes. I have been trying slowly to get out of this but I have not really stuck to it much :(. Well I thought I would share that she had slept through the night now for two nights in row! This is huge progress!! I hope that this is the beginning of full night sleeps for ME too!!! Amber

We meet Shakes for the first time....

My Sister and Brother-in-law Laura and Ty got a dog a little while ago...here she is her name is "Shakes"!!

And she shakes your hand only you have to say "paw" because if you say shake she will just look at you :)!!

Addison was not sure about her...she was a little too excited for Addi!!!

WE FINALLY GOT OUTSIDE

WHAT A CRAZY GIRL! Hallie loves riding her scooter and bike...it was chilly but nice to get some fresh air for once...Addi was taking a nap. We are going to work on riding with out training wheels real soon :) She looks so big on her bike this year :(

THE RETURN OF THE BOXELDER BUGS!!!!

By where we live...there are a mass quantity of box elder bugs..due to the box elder trees on our property. With the warm day we had on Friday and the sun in the front of our house, we have seen a few of those things in our home...it will be interesting to see Addison outside when they are flying everywhere :) :)!! "MOM WHAT IS THAT"...Addison is very concerned about the wiggly boxelderbug that has found a spot by the fireplace in our house!

PLAY TIME AT THE JONES HOUSE

The Bouwkamp family sent Addison this VERY FUN book in the mail for her birthday. It is a book with buttons that you press to hear different bible songs. You can also sing along with the microphone. Hallie has really enjoyed this. She sings while Addison eats the microphone!!

Addison has really started to enjoy HALLIE's baby doll :) ! She loves feeding the baby. This babies name is Emma!

WE HAD A FULL HOUSE TODAY!!

Makalynn and Cole came to our house today while their mom went to work.

Hallie had to go to the end of the driveway to catch the bus so we got all our stuff on to walk her down!

Addison was sleeping so she is missing from the picture.

Cole climbs into the LEGO box...what a TRUE BOY!! It has been fun watching a boy around this house!

Makalynn gives me the eyes......She wanted more snacks :) :)..and she got more!!

I put Makalynn to work...she did all my ironing!! No she would not have had enough time :)!

THE DR. VISIT

Addison had an appointment today. It was her ONE year. I know it is a little past One year..but I kind of forgot. She had four shots today. Two in each arm. It was sad. She cried so hard she could not catch her breath. She checked out well. Ears are good (which) has been a huge concern of mine. She weighed in at 20# 15oz ( this is the 50% for girls her age). Her height is 28 3/4 inches (and this is 45% for girls). Her head on the other hand is another story... :) it is in the 90%!!! OH Well she will grow into it. We had big plans for the day but with little ones you just never know. I was going to bring Addison to get her pictures today but she ended up sleeping all morning! Of course this happens on a day when I would like to take off! She woke up at around 12:15pm we ate lunch and then took off to pick up Hallie from School so that she could come with us to the appt.( otherwise I may have not been home in time for the bus). TWO KIDS CAN BE A LOT OF WORK :)! Then we went to Target to return/exchange some things. Addison got crabby...so we made that go very quick. We just got home a little bit ago. Hallie is playing "teacher" and Addison is sleeping. I am going to get the house picked up and dinner on. We have conferences tonight with Hallie's teacher at 7:00pm. Then to bed for the girls and more house work for me!! Then tomorrow I am watching my niece and nephew Makalynn and Cole for the day. Addison thinks she is BIG like her sister

This is a daily struggle with Addison...she enjoys climbing the steps, only now she thinks she needs to walk up them instead of crawl. She thinks she is bigger than she really is. I caught it on camera. Addi lets me know she made it to the top.....

World's youngest cashiers...

Hallie found some one who would play store with her..only Addison wanted to be the cashier not the shopper! The girls were having fun on a Sunday afternoon while dad was watching the race.

Since Addi is always dropping fishy crumbs everywhere I decided she can clean them up. She did pretty well with the "dust buster" on a stick!

BABY ALIVIA

We visited our newest niece on Monday night. She is so small only 18 inches long and 7lbs. She has dark hair and is truly adorable!

Uncle Mark is loving this. He has been really bugging me for another one...Crazy guy!

Look at her lips and her perfect little face. She is truly a little angel. I think she looks like both her brother and sister. Congratulations again Jason and Michelle (Lisa). We are so happy for you!

WE HAVE A NEW NIECE AND COUSIN

We are so excited to share with all of you the BIG NEWS!!! We have a new niece. Her name is Alivia Nicole Tebos. She was born today at 12:50pm. She weighs 7 lbs 1 oz. Her parents are Jason and Michelle (Mark's sister) and she has an older brother Zachery and older sister Alyssa. We have not been up to see her but we will be visiting tomorrow. I will take pictures and post them. Mom is doing AWESOME! I have heard Alivia is adorable...I am not surprised. Mark and I now have FOUR nieces and Two Nephews. There are now EIGHT grandkids on the Jones side....and I am sure it will continue to grow.
