I wanted to share with you what I read this morning in my devotional book. Everything comes from God alone. Everything lives by his power, and everything is for his Glory. Romans 11:36 The Lord has made everything for his own purposes. Proverbs 16:4 This is what really got me thinking and wanting to share: "Living the rest of your life for the glory of God will require a change in your priorities, your schedule, your relationships, and everything else. It will sometimes mean choosing a difficult path instead of an easy one." "Will you live for your own goals, comfort, and pleasure, or will you live the rest of your life for God's glory"... It is so easy to want to be in control and to set our own goals and live a life of "comfort". One thing I have learned over the past Five years is that when you truly give God control and "let go".....AMAZING things happen! It is a daily struggle for me to let go of my life and trying to control every situation...but when I do I see God so clearly. He has opened my eyes so many times..HIS PLAN IS SO MUCH BIGGER AND BETTER than I could ever dream of! I just wanted to share this with those of you that read my Blog! I think that it is a Great way to start out the day...Remembering that we are made for his purposes not our own! Have a GREAT day! ~ Amber :)

Such a great blog entry Amber. It is hard sometimes to "let go" and to give everything to God. Our society is so "me" oriented and "me" driven, that it can be so hard for us to give up control and put our faith and trust in Him. But when He is in control and when you put your trust in Him, He does do amazing things.
God can't work in your life, if you don't hand it over to Him.
Thank-you Amber for our talk today~~
Your an amazing daughter.
I pulled my book out today...
I love you.
Amber-
You are an amazing mother and wife as well as a child of god.. To let go is so hard and I struggle with it everyday as do most of us I suppose but with the love from god, my family and friends I know I will always have the strength.. God bless you and your family day in and out...
