Those three words are the only positive things I could say after an airport/ flying disaster! We were scheduled to leave GR at 7:30am. We boarded and then we sat and sat and sat! One of the engines was not working...so they called out the mechanic and luckily eventually they got it going, then we needed to be De-iced! Since it was -17 at the airport...We ended up finally leaving but we were afraid we would miss our connector flight in Memphis...and we did. They re routed us to Atlanta then to Tallahassee. Then before we ever boarded that flight it was changed to what we THOUGHT would be better...we were going to fly right into Tallahassee and grab our rental and on our way..right?? NOPE. We arrived tired and crabby, and poor Hallie was so tired and nauseous from the flight and the day she threw up in the bathroom as soon as we got off the plane. Other than that the girls were AWESOME)...I was not feeling anything close to awesome...to put a topper on this long day that I forgot to mention started at 3:30 am...THEY LOST OUR LUGGAGE--and no one could seem to figure out where on earth it was. When I say luggage I am talking car seat, pack n play, all of our clothes and toiletries! Nice huh! So now at this point I am praying to God to give me the strength to stay calm and not come unglued! He did...although inside my thoughts towards North West Airlines and Delta were not very nice. Now as I write this I am happy to let you all know we have our luggage it arrived here at the condo at about 2:00pm! Mark and Hallie are walking the beach...I am typing this on the huge balcony overlooking the Gulf. It is BRIGHT sunshine a bit chilly but I am still getting sun in my comfy chair!Addison is taking a much needed nap now that her bed has arrived! I look forward to the week...to the memories we will make as family! And I am so happy we are here safe and together! When I woke up this morning, I heard the waves crashing and I forgot for a minute that I did not have any clean clothes to put on (hahaha)... Talk to you soon..I better catch some more rays before Addi wakes up.

Thank God our prayers seem to always reach him when in need. You have your things you have each other and most of all your all together and safe... God is good and he knows how much he can test us!!!! right Amber?
Enjoy all his gifts as you watch your girls play and run by the beautiful ocean and enjoy one another, relax, smile, and set on that deck after you put the girls safely to sleep and enjoy a glass of wine...look at each other and thank God for being so good to you.
I love and miss you all...((HUGS)) and ***KISSES*** ...mom
Glad you got there safe and sound and finally got your luggage. It is so frustrating to have a complicated day of travel and then get to your destination without all of your things! I'm glad they found them. Get some sun for me.....I think we've reached a balmy 10 degrees here today. :) HAVE FUN!!!! Love you!
Lisa
Looks like you guys are enjoying yourselves and ugh about the flying distasters, we've been there, trust me, not fun with kids though! Enjoy the rest of your fun in the sun!
