Coat guard boat heading out to help!
This the boat almost on shore... it was hitting bottom at this point and everyone jumped out of the boat!
This is when we first saw the boat...
Yesterday it was VERY windy, so we took our bike ride down to the North Pier. When we got there Mark noticed a boat out on the lake that was taking waves and looked like they were in trouble! About ten minutes later the coast guard boat came flying down the channel. By the time they arrived though the boat was almost washed up on shore... it was a brand new boat. Luckily everyone got off safely and the boat did not sink! It was way too rough out there for traveling.

we were there on Sunday too walking around on the pier & saw the coast guard boat flying down the channel - i wondered what was going on.
