Addison : Mom is it weird that I am not dating someone?
Me:  No, you are too young to date.
Addison: Well I just don't get what dating is, I mean why do people date?
Me: people date to get to know each other and then they might get married after awhile or they might not:)
Addison: I guess its good I know Ayden (friend from preschool) so we don't have to date... I am not sure if I want to marry him but if I do someday I wont need to date him!
Me: (trying super hard not to start laughing) Yes you are right Addison! ... I mean really what do you say to that?
